ROUTE

  1. Enter the iconic Colosseum and be transported back to the Roman Empire in the amphitheatre that was once the entertainment centre of the city, hosting fights between gladiators and even wild animals imported from Africa and the Middle East.
  2. In the nearby Forum, your guide will regale you with stories of political intrigue, betrayal and triumph as you stand in what once was the heart of day-to-day life. You will explore the remains of the most important buildings and spaces of one of the greatest Ancient settlements.
  3. You will also discover the Palatine Hill, where the legendary Romulus is thought to have founded the city. It became the location of the houses of affluent Romans and then home to the emperors. The ruins are impressive and the view over the Circus Maximus is a must-see.

Outside the metro station "Colosseo", ground level, cross the road to the "Colosseum Square", walk across the square until you reach the Arch of Constantine, your meeting point is on the back side of the arch.
Please arrive 25 minutes before the departure.
A valid ID is required to enter the Colosseum.

Sehr netter Veranstalter, gute Guide, der viel Ahnung hatte und lebendig erzählen konnte. Gutes Tempo, Gruppe nicht zu groß. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen!
