Access the arena floor through the gladiators’ gate and imagine what they would have experienced as they stepped out under the gaze of thousands of noisy spectators. Look down into the dungeons where they would have been preparing themselves beforehand and wild animals would have been kept.
Across the way in the Forum, the political, social and religious core of the city, you will find the remains of public buildings, temples, the sacred dwelling of the Vestal Virgins and much more.   • Please wear comfortable walking shoes
  • Operates in all weather conditions – please bring appropriate clothing and water
  • The meeting time can be subject to change. In this case, we will call/text you in advance
  • Aerosols, sharp objects and large backpacks will not be allowed
  • If you are late to arrive at the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour
